American Revolutionary War in “Nostalgia 25mm”

Back in 1976 I collected and painted up a small collection of AWI figures. Back then the term “25mm” as a scale was truly 25mm from the base to the figure’s eyes. This year, we are celebrating the United States’ 250th birthday. So, I thought I would offer an AWI game. I happened to have recalled where I had those figures from 50 years ago. I was surprised that my painting style was almost exactly the one I have today. I did not have all the figures I needed but I managed to scan and 3d print a lot of the figures I was missing.

Now I am featuring the hypothetical 1779 “Battle of Pepperridge Farm” with these. I will take pics of the event at the next show I attend: DAYCON, which is in April. Shortly thereafter I will feature the game at Little Wars, in Chicago. Then I will offer the game at Historicon in Lancaster, PA. Here are some pics of my preparations.

I will have more pics up soon.
